Review-
This 2 disc set is a welcome return to form for Koner, who's last album seemed to be treading sonic water while he waited for some inspiration to pass his way. Well, it seems it did... the 1st disc is a live recording of a broadcast from French radio, steeped in white noise, samples, layers of sound creating a rich audio tapestry.
It's not like the usual "classic" Koner material we've been used to (all sub bass and very little else), in fact it sounds a bit more accessible than most of his albums but hasn't lost the subtleties of sound his fans appreciate.
The 2nd disc is a collection of pieces he's created for various installations in galleries. Again, it appears on the surface to be a new direction for Koner, but dig a little deeper and it's apparent he's just taking his trademark "sound" off at a tangent from where you usually find him.
Another good album from one of the leading lights in the ambient soundscape scene. Not what you'd immediately expect from him, but still unmistakeably Koner.
