Deep house is a style of music that you can almost only buy as a sampler or compilation. In other words, all compiled tracks from different artists. DJ's have rarely taken on their own album. That is the case here. So respect for the fact that the head behind the project from 2005, Jon Silva from Portugal, wrote and produced 12 flawless tracks, all of which belong 100% to the Deep House style.

Throughout, all tracks are very tidy, clearly structured and produced. But what is deep about production? These are the relaxed yet danceable beats, the synth chords processed with effects Flanger & Co, and the finely dosed vocals. Add a few samples and percussion effects, and the work is ready. In principle, a simple knitting pattern, when you also consider that the diversity of harmony and, in my opinion, musical diversity is not overused here. But that is perhaps not so popular when it comes to exclusively electronically produced music.

I like this style, the inspired Fender Rhodes chords with strings are the perfect soundtrack for summer holidays and magnificent sunsets. Almost close to the chillout...
