Another great album, I can hear lots of the old style Alice mixed in there, some DaDa era stuff showing through (Dynamic Road and Dead Flies reminding me of I love America in the half talk/ half sung lyrical style) and old songs titles mentioned in lyrics (for example: Vicious Rumours from Special Forces, No Man's Land from DaDa, and more) Rats, Dynamic Road and Fireball are my favourite album tracks after listening to the album 5 times.
At first listen I wasn't too impressed with the 2 original AC band songs but Genuine American Girl soon became one of my favourite tracks. Maybe re-connecting with the original AC band members has influenced Alice's style for this album and also It does seem like he has been listening to his late 70's early 80's albums.
