Pink Floyd was an English rock band formed in London in 1965, known for their progressive and psychedelic music. The original lineup consisted of Syd Barrett (vocals, guitar), Nick Mason (drums), Roger Waters (bass, vocals), and Richard Wright (keyboards, vocals). David Gilmour (guitar, vocals) joined in 1967, and Barrett left in 1968 due to mental health issues.
