Late 1970s–80s: Albums like Lionheart, Never for Ever, The Dreaming, and *Hounds of Love* (1985) cemented her reputation. Hounds of Love—featuring “Running Up That Hill”—blended art-pop with cutting-edge studio techniques and became her most acclaimed work.

1990s–2000s: She released albums sporadically (The Sensual World, The Red Shoes, Aerial), prioritizing privacy and family life.

2014: Returned to the stage with the sold-out London residency Before the Dawn—her first live shows since 1979.
